'Ways' corporate video for training parks staff

Ways of Doing Business is a corporate video about working with indigneous Victorians for Parks Victoira. The video production took Star Digital to five locations all over Victoria, to interview leaders of the local indigenous communities. This video is intended for use as a training video, introducing new parks staff to working with Indigenous people.

Storekeeper Web Video for Bonsai Media

This web video was created for Bonsai Media to drive traffic to their Store Keeper landing page. Bonsai Media created an on-line video campaign using this animated internet video to promote their new product, an on-line e-commerce and shopping cart system for retail websites.

Star Digital animated the artwork supplied to us by Bonsai Media. This was done in After Effects and rendered as an interactive flash video for their web site.

Bonsai Media and Star Digital have collaborated together on a number of projects requiring graphic design, web video, animation and flash.

Web Videos for Via Walking Tours Tuscany

Star Digital produced a series of web videos for the Via Walking website in Feb 2011. Via walking run tours in Tuscany and are re-launching their website featuring the new videos. Star Digital produced the web videos using HD video footage and high quality photographs collected by the Via Walking tour guides.

We also produced the voice over for the home page video and selected some music to use throughout the web video clips. This allowed Star Digital to delivery high quality web videos at a very low cost to Via Walking.

Museum Victoria & Nine Lanterns

Star Digital and Nine Lanterns worker together on these touch screen exhibits for Museum Victoria. Two touch screens were created for the recently opened Dinosaur Walk. One touch screen is a creature timeline dating back 600 m.y.a. The other interactive shows how Sauropods ate and digested their food.

Platinum Award Winning Media

Star Digital provided 3D design and video production services on this award winning e-learning project for Nine Lanterns and the Commonwealth Bank. By combining 3D sets and 'blue screen' actors the scenario based course puts the learner in realistic situation that they must solve in the role of Branch or Office Manager. NEWS - Gold MUSE Award for Multimedia

In 2008 while working at Magian, David Oakley and Jennifer Levitt co-produced an ambitious multimedia installation for the Liberty Science Centre in New York.

This project has just received one of the most prestigious awards in International Museum Multimedia - Gold from the American Associations of Museums.

David was co Writer / Director and Producer of the visual multimedia that successfully broaches the topic of infectious diseases - to an audience seated in a mock up of a New York Subway Car.

This historical visulaisation forms a part of the Trail of The Tin Dragon multimedia and video presentation. Star Digital produced a series short animations in partnership Sound Light And Motion and Jaffa Design.

Push My Buttons - Interactive Film

Push my buttons is a proof of concept developed with the assiatnce of Film Victoria during a funded scoping study we completed in January 2009. There are 4 clickable objects within the film. The goal is to STOP the jogger getting on his bus.

3D Animation - Music Video

This 3D animated music video was largely produced by Planet of Animation with story and producing assistance from Star Digital. Peter Leary was the director and Dan Hartney the writer and co-producer.

Film Vic Scoping Funding Approval

Star Digital are undertaking a scoping study into Interactive video with the assistance of Film Victoria. The overall project objective is to create an interactive video (IV) ‘rendering system’ that can be used by film industry people and design industry businesses to make any objects in any video footage interactive or clickable.

Desired Outcomes

1. Identify a simple production path for shooting and processing video
2. Identify the requirements for any new software that has to be written
3. Identify the requirements for any software that can be modified
4. Create a business case and proposal for raising money for funding
5. Identify possible business partners and markets

Animated Brochure Style Video

Star Digital wrote the script and developed the creative treatment for this video for Sound Light And Motion. We are also the producers and directors of the HD green screen footage of Suzie Wilks. The rest of the video was produced by SLAM and Australand.

Punchy Motion Graphics Presentation 2:45

This 2.45min motion graphics presentation has been animated and authored by Star Digital in conjunction with the designers at Bonsai Media and their client Positive PR in QLD.
